Compassionate Inclusive Coaching Supervisor Development workshop

About the session:

Supervision plays a key part in supporting the development and practice of coaches, including the coach’s mindset and approach to equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I). This online ½ day workshop is designed to offer coaching supervisors an opportunity to explore their supervisor practice and how relevant and emerging ED&I themes, dynamics, and practices are attended to within coaching supervision, including opportunities to contribute to building inclusive practices and cultures through the coaching supervisory relationship.

The workshop will explore:

  1. Our conditioned worldviews, biases, and mindsets and how to reduce/ neutralise their impact on practice
  2. Relevant terminology to develop a better understanding of key inclusion-related concepts
  3. Inclusive mindsets for coaching and supervision
  4. The different modes of the inclusive coaching and supervisory relationship
  5. The role, responsibilities, accountabilities, and ethics associated with inclusive coaching and supervision

Byron has a background in health and social care, community and higher education, leadership development; and has spent the past 30 years supporting individuals, teams, communities and organisations build supportive and inclusive practices, systems and cultures. His passion is supporting individuals, teams and organisations weave together different sources of knowledge, wisdom and practice to support collaborative learning and change. His current work involves supporting change agents develop a compassionate and inclusive approach in their work so they can better engage with real world complexity and make a difference.
