NEW: South East Systems Leaders Peer Network and Learning Programme

As part of our renewed commitment in NHS South East to supporting Neighbourhood, Place and System working, we are pleased to offer an opportunity to be part of a new network and a new learning programme. We are inviting 12 participants from each Integrated Care Board (ICB) in the South East.

About the programme

The programme will run in four virtual interactive sessions, between June – October 2025, and will focus on key themes in systems leadership; how to understand what happens in complex situations; working across boundaries; building relationships and getting to shared purpose; working with different forms of power and politics; and using influence to effect change.

You will have the opportunity to learn from others in the space, benefit from their experiences and collaborate with peers.

Each session will blend:

  • expert input
  • real-time problem solving
  • peer learning
  • building a toolkit of ideas, approaches and techniques which can be used time after time.
Session 1How do we work in Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity?
Session 2How do we influence without direct power?
Session 3How do we take people with us and lead through change?
Session 4What does this mean for place based / neighbourhood leaders?

This programme runs across Wednesdays 25th June and 16th July and Tuesdays 23rd September and 14th October 2025. All sessions will be virtual with timings to be confirmed. The sessions will not be all day.

Who is this programme for?

This virtual programme is for people inside and outside the NHS, who have an interest in working collaboratively at neighbourhood and place and want to take action to improve health and care for their citizens.
