Mentoring CPD: Strengths-based Mentoring
About the session:
STRENGTHS-BASED MENTORING – Restoring confidence and a sense of competence through mentoring
This workshop will explore how mentors can use positive psychology approaches to help themselves, as well as their mentees, reconnect with their strengths and talents. This is proven to improve well-being and confidence (and tame that imposter gremlin). Too often we focus on what we need to rectify and what we see as our weaknesses. We want to turn this on its head and look at how we can help each other celebrate what we do well, why we work in healthcare and what gives us job satisfaction.
