Succeeding at Interviews Workshop (Minority Ethnic- Non white) – 10th January

Free

You are booking onto ‘Succeeding at Interviews’ – Tuesday 10th January 2023

About the session:

Being offered an interview can be exciting, but also can feel quite daunting. Gain the skills and confidence needed to thrive in an interview situation. This one-day workshop equips women of all professional backgrounds with the practical tools and self-belief to do themselves justice at interviews – no matter what questions they are asked.

Participants will be shown how to identify and communicate their strengths most effectively and structure their answers to convey their suitability for the position they want.  Through practice interviews, participants see themselves as others see them. Feedback from peers and facilitators helps individuals make the best possible impression when it comes to the real thing.

Who is the session for

This Positive Action, Leadership Development initiative is relevant for those individuals who are seeking opportunities for career progression and promotion. Its aim is to support those who identify as Black, Asian, and Minority ethnics (non-white) to develop their sense of personal agency and impact and build strong networks to support their development and career progression.

  • You are actively applying for a new position, or you have an interview scheduled to attend
  • Career progression has been highlighted as part of your most recent development conversation with your line manager, with progression recommended within the next 6 – 9 months
