Calling all GMTS Alumni

The NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme (GMTS) is a multi-award winning graduate management programme aimed at developing future NHS leaders across the country. We were recently very proud to be awarded The Times Graduate Recruitment Award for Graduate Employer of Choice for General Management in 2021. The scheme has been running for nearly 60 years, and many of our current leaders, including Directors and Chief Executives started their journey on the scheme.

In the South East, we are currently looking to review our understanding of Alumni of the scheme in the region, whether they trained in the South East, or moved to the area after completion, in order to understand how we can better support our trainees both during their time on GMTS as well as their early years post completion.

If you are GMTS Alumni it would be hugely appreciated if you could complete a short survey which will take no more than a minute or two to complete. This is an initial data capture and all information will be held securely for our information. If you would prefer not to be contacted further in relation to GMTS, you may opt out of any further communications, however we are looking to build our South East Alumni network as a way to support our existing trainees, gain feedback and suggestions to improve the scheme, and also support you in your own leadership journeys through the South East Leadership and Lifelong Learning team.

Please complete the Graduate Management Scheme Alumni Form – South East Leadership Academy. This short survey will take no more than two minutes.

If you do know of anyone in your organisation or own networks that may be GMTS Alumni, please do share this link as this will really support our work understanding the impact GMTS has had.

If you have any questions, please email the South East GMTS team at [email protected].
