Leadership Espresso – Leading during Challenging times.

About the session:

As the NHS continues to work through the extensive backlog, we are continuing to face one of our most difficult periods to date. We are expecting to see increased pressures on staff, combined with higher levels of sickness and absence in the workforce.  We have curated this session to explore the leadership concepts and practices that will support us during this time, exploring compassionate and inclusive leadership cultural principles while aiding recovery in individuals and teams.

What will be covered?

During the session we will:

  • consider the landscape and situation participants are facing with their teams and the people they work with
  • explore compassionate and inclusive leadership in context
  • reflect on leaders as role models and what this means to you
  • refresh the basics of leadership
  • explore using S.U.N as an antidote for winter challenges.

The NHS Leadership Academy provides leadership development for people of all backgrounds and experiences across health and care.
