About the session:
Feeling stuck or unsure about your next move? Explore practical models like IKIGAI and Squiggly Careers to reflect on what drives and motivates you. You’ll work through coaching-style questions to help align your career choices with your values, strengths, and aspirations. A creative and energising hour to reset your career direction. This session is part of the South East Summer Career Series – a collection of interactive, one-hour virtual workshops designed to support your career development across health and care in the South East. Each workshop is a stand-alone session, so you can join the ones most relevant to you, or attend the full series for a broader boost. The sessions are practical, reflective, and designed to help you build confidence, develop your professional skills, and take your next step with purpose. Although we will be able to see your name and email address upon submission, once extrapolated this data will be anonymised. Rob Wright’s niche is leadership career pathways in the NHS. He was previously Head of Executive Talent and Appointments at NHS England. Prior to that, as a Senior Programme Lead in the NHS Leadership Academy, he helped establish the NHS Executive Search team that supported board appointments in the NHS. He was also worked on the national Aspiring CEO programme, the Clinical Executive Fast Track, the Aspiring Director of Nursing, HR Director and Medical Director programmes and as well as the Aspire Together regional talent boards. He has a background in search and selection and also took a time out to complete an internship with the RSPB, as an Education Officer – a position which involved encouraging school parties to explore the natural world.Career Planning: Design Your Path with Purpose
