Leaders as allies: Why me? Why now? 25th November 2020
As we celebrate Black History Month, this masterclass will be making the links between theory, discourse, policy and action. You will get to explore authentic allyship as an agent of change and transformation and have the space to start to think about your own role in this.
During the session, you will:
• Explore the concept and relevance of allyship
• Understand the thinking and development that led to allyship as an important aspect of Equity and Social Justice
• Explore the idea of being an ally in terms of policy and practice at work
• Consider how you can become an authentic ally
