Summer Career Series: Interview Confidence – Show Up, Speak Well, Succeed

About the session:

Nervous about interviews? You’re not alone. This session helps you build confidence and clarity when preparing for interviews — whether it’s for a job, secondment, or panel. You’ll learn techniques to manage nerves, structure strong answers, and make a lasting impression.    

This session is part of the South East Summer Career Series – a collection of interactive, one-hour virtual workshops designed to support your career development across health and care in the South East.  Each workshop is a stand-alone session, so you can join the ones most relevant to you, or attend the full series for a broader boost.  The sessions are practical, reflective, and designed to help you build confidence, develop your professional skills, and take your next step with purpose.    

Come ready to engage – cameras on, mics ready! All participants receive a takeaway action sheet and resources to support your learning after the session.

All South East NHS health and social care colleagues working in the region.

Places are available on a first come, first serve basis.  Although we will be able to see your name and email address upon submission, once extrapolated this data will be anonymised. We appreciate your support in providing this information, which will help us to ensure our leadership development interventions are widely accessible and inclusive.    

The session will be delivered virtually. Links to join the workshop will be emailed to those who have booked, along with full joining instructions, one to two weeks before the workshop date.

About the Facilitator – Michele Fisher

Michele Fisher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in coaching, training, and HR consultancy. Since July 2007, Michele has been with MY Coach, delivering tailored skills workshops and career coaching. Additionally, Michele serves as an Executive Coach for the NHS Leadership Academy, fostering personal growth among NHS professionals. Freelance roles in Learning and Development and as an Associate Trainer for Mind highlight Michele’s focus on mental health initiatives. As an Associate Career Coach with Renovo, Michele provides tailored outplacement support. Previous roles include Associate work with Working Transitions and People in Flow Ltd, as well as volunteer support for ex-offenders. Michele holds multiple qualifications in coaching and training, reflecting a strong commitment to professional development and community engagement.
