Coaching for Health & Well-being CPD Programme for Experienced Coaches

About the session:

We have commissioned TPC Health to help design this programme with having listened to the experiences of our coaches and now offer this CPD programme to support qualified & experienced coaches to deliver coaching that supports the wellbeing of our workforce. It is important to note that the request is not for training clinicians to use health coaching as part of their patient care role. Rather, the main intention of this intervention is to support coaches to learn specific coaching approaches and techniques that they can use with their clients (NHS staff) to enhance wellbeing and build resilience.

The programme is structured as 4 separate half day sessions, delivered over a period of 3-4 months to allow participants to practice their developing skills. This is a highly interactive programme with an emphasis on skill practice and development. The programme will be delivered using a participative and experiential learning process, with many opportunities to practice skills.

Core areas covered include:

  • – An introduction to the principles of coaching for health & wellbeing
