Black History Month Event – Disparities in Childbirth
About this session
Black women experience higher rates of complications during childbirth and highlight the disparities in mortality rates for black women. We will focus on the importance of managing health and wellbeing during childbirth.
In this lunch and learn we will hear from Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent and the founders of Five X More who campaign to change black women and birthing people’s maternal health outcomes in the UK.
