The purpose of this session is for you to explore Ethical Dilemmas you may face as a coach and the role of supervision and reflective practice to explore and resolve

The purpose of this session is for you to explore ethical dilemmas you may face as a coach, particularly when working internally within the system organisation and the role of supervision and reflective practice to explore and resolve challenges and issues

The session will offer space to:

  • Check-in (what are you thinking and feeling today)
  • An exploration of ethical challenges internal coaches may face
  • Unpacking the codes of practice for coaching and what this means for coaches within the NHS (training, CPD and supervision of coaches)
  • Exploration challenges and practical or psychological considerations when coaching within an internal complex system.

This CPD opportunity is intended to support the skillset of coaches currently operating in the NHS offering a framework to help support clients and organisations

Your Facilitators

Julie McVeigh

Julie is an Executive Developer, Supervisor, Coach, Trainer, Whole Person Facilitator and Project Manager who has experience of  working with a number of organisational settings. She is passionate about people and working with them to be the best they can be. Her approach is underpinned by the belief that given the right supportive conditions people will find the solutions to their issues through positive action.

Sandra Egleton

A coach and coaching supervisor for over 10 years, Sandra brings her experience as both a family therapist and senior manager of 30 years to her practice. She uses a wide range of psychological and business models in her work to best meet the needs of the client and is increasingly applying a systemic perspective to make sense of the complexity and challenges organisations face in today’s volatile business environment.

Sandra is passionate about coaching supervision and the key role it plays in ensuring quality and best practice both for individual coaches and the coaching profession. She encourages reflective practice as part of creating new perspectives and transformational change.
