Coaching is a powerful method of developing capability in others, making this programme ideal for NHS leaders, managers and health professionals looking to develop their capabilities as well as those of others. This programme is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and capabilities to facilitate the improvement of patient care through the development of people and this will be delivered virtually.
The Coaching Programme offers 15 places which will be funded by the South East Leadership Academy, and is an accreditation delivered by HumanTechnics, through The Institute of Leadership & Management and enables participants to join the SELA Coaching Register once accredited.
Successful participants who pass submission at the end of the programme will receive a certificate of Accreditation, which will detail that this is an equivalent to ILM 5.
The programme will be spread over a period 12 months, and will include:
5 days of virtual training; 4 – days of workshop training which will be delivered in 2 blocks of 2 days with a gap between a week and a month between the two parts.
The 5th day is a CPD day and is an opportunity to reconnect as a group and develop a support network.

This is a positive action programme for our BAME (Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic) colleagues directly employed by NHS to enhance diversity in our coaching faculties.
