SUMMARY:Autumn-Winter Career Series: #IAmRemarkable
DESCRIPTION:About the session:\nThis is a pilot session. \nWhat is #IAmRemarkable?\n#IAmRemarkable is a global movement that empowers everyone\, including underrepresented groups\, to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond\, while challenging the social perception around self-promotion.  At the heart of the movement is a 90 minute workshop open to everyone\, hosted by global facilitators. \nWhy is it important?\nImposter syndrome. Stereotypes. Culture. For many reasons\, lots of us feel uncomfortable sharing our achievements. By amplifying stories and research on the transformative power of self-promotion\, we want to inspire every single person to share their accomplishments. \nHow it can support people\n\nImprove motivation and self-confidence by encouraging employees to express their achievements\nDrive diversity benefits and allyship by supporting underrepresented groups by getting their voices heard\nStrengthen team cohesion and inclusion by building trust and improving the quality of communication\n\nWho is this session for?\nAll South East NHS health and social care colleagues working in the region. \nBook your place:\nPlease book your place via the green RSVP ‘Going’ button below. Places are available on a first come\, first serve basis.  Although we will be able to see your name and email address upon submission\, once extrapolated the demographic and protected characteristics data will be anonymised. We appreciate your support in providing this information\, which will help us to ensure our leadership development interventions are widely accessible and inclusive. \nTo enable successful delivery of our events\, we need to share details\, including name\, role and/or organisation details\, along with any motivations/aspirations included in the RSVP booking form\, with facilitators to enable effective and inclusive preparation for the event.  For some events we will also share contact information with all participants to enable connection and ongoing collaboration.
