SUMMARY:Leadership Espresso - Making Every Conversation Count
DESCRIPTION:About the session:\nOur teams are experiencing heightened levels of stress\, pressure and ambiguity in both the workplace and at home\, add to this the challenge of communicating and creating space for conversations in a virtual world. It is no wonder we can sometimes struggle to hold impactful and meaningful conversations. This 90-minute leadership espresso session has been developed to support Line Managers to have coaching style conversations and introduce how a coaching approach to managing others provides long-term development and support for others.\nThis session has been designed to be practical\, applied and filled with tools to support you to line manage your staff and teams. \nWhat will be covered?\nDuring the session we will focus on: \n• the power of effective communication\, including levels of listening and creating moments of connection.\n• the psychology of how the current context may be impacting individuals and their sense of control and autonomy. \nWho is this session for?\nThe NHS Leadership Academy provides leadership development for people of all backgrounds and experiences across health and care.\nBook your Place:\nReserve a place via our RSVP booking system below. A confident facilitator speaker and coach\, Rebekah has a proven track record of delivering engaging and powerful development programmes. She is at the forefront of the provision of leadership development for clinicians and managers in health and care settings across the country. She strives to challenge mindsets\, build belief and support change through the use of psychology based development. Her flagship leadership programmes develop individuals and their organisations using a range of innovative techniques\, which result in demonstrable on-the-ground change and performance improvement.
