SUMMARY:Leading Together: Support and Challenge for PCN Managers
DESCRIPTION:The Offer:\nThese sessions build on the success of Learning Sets for PCN managers in the South East over the last year. With expert facilitation\, the sessions provide an opportunity for PCN Managers to seek and offer peer support relating to the unique leadership challenges of this role. \nThe peer learning will also involve sharing perspectives and ideas while gently challenging each other to be bold and to try new things. The aim is for PCN Managers to feel less alone\, to learn with and from each other and to build a network. \nFormat:\n\n\n\n90 Minute virtual sessions\nFrequent sessions\, every 4 weeks\nIndividuals put forward their real\, live leadership issues they wish to explore and the group chooses which to focus on\nBook onto sessions as and when needed\nMax 8 people per session to enable small group inquiry and engagement\nSessions use the principles of supportive peer learning and critical friendship.\n\n\n\nWho the session is for:\n The sessions are open to all Primary Care Network Managers across the South-East Region. \nBook your place:\nReserve a place via our RSVP booking system below. You will receive the Joining Instructions on how to attend 1 week prior to the event. The session will be delivered virtually. \nSELA will retain a record of your name\, job role\, organisation\, band\, and contact details on its secure alumni register and contacts database for management information and communications purposes. Although we will be able to see your name and email address upon submission\, this data will be anonymised from the EDI details. We appreciate your support in providing this information\, which will help us to ensure our leadership development interventions are widely accessible and inclusive. \nYour booking details (i.e. name\, role\, organisation\, ICS) will be shared with the event provider and/or facilitator to allow them to understand participant thinking and adapt the event accordingly\, in addition to other regional leadership academies (as required) and with the members of other relevant SELA networks to aid communication\, sharing of good practice and support. Please note that this is in line with information governance and data protection guidelines. Please see our Privacy Policy here. \nShould you have any queries\, or if your circumstances change and you can no longer attend\, or you wish to opt out of the above arrangements\, please contact england.selll@nhs.net. \nFollowing your booking\, you will be invited to submit a leadership issue you’d like to explore and other attendees will be informed of this. \n  \nAbout the Facilitator: \nThe sessions will be facilitated by Dr Jeanne Hardacre\, Founding Director of Impact4Health (www.impact4.co.uk)\, which is a specialist leadership\, OD and culture change consultancy. Among a wide range of NHS teams\, Jeanne is supporting several primary care practices\, PCNs and practice manager forums with their leadership in a virtual context. \nOur Commitment \nWe are committed to making our training as accessible as possible (please see our accessibility page for what is currently available)\, we are aware that there is more that we can be doing. Please do contact us if there are any reasonable adjustments that we can make to support you to be able to attend this session. england.selll@nhs.net
