SUMMARY:Leadership Espresso - Leadership Support Circles - Acknowledge the Hurt
DESCRIPTION:About the session:\nLeadership Support Circles are part of our National Health and Wellbeing response to Covid19 to support the wellbeing of #OurNHSPeople. They provide evidence-based guidance and tools in a series of short\, themed and interactive online sessions based on 10 principles for leading compassionately. Leadership Support Circles are a reflective space for managers at all levels to come together in a multi-disciplinary setting to share their experiences and be heard. \nLeadership support circles offer time and reflective safe space for those with responsibility for managing others through: \nShort\, themed and interactive online sessions based on 10 evidence-based principles for Leading Compassionately During Covid19 \nA multi-disciplinary\, interactive space for people managers at all levels to come together\, share their experiences and be heard \nDrawing on practices including Schwartz Rounds and Care Circles often used by clinicians \nWhat will be covered?\nDuring the session focussing on acknowledging the hurt we will give you the opportunity to: \n\nCome together as leaders\nShare experiences\nBe heard\nWork through complex challenges ​\n\nWho is this session for?\nThe NHS Leadership Academy provides leadership development for people of all backgrounds and experiences across health and care.\nBook your Place:\nReserve a place via our RSVP booking system below. Please do contact us if there are any reasonable adjustments that we can make to support you to be able to attend this session. nhsi.selll@nhs.net  \nAbout the Facilitators\nBeth Hill\, Systems Leadership Senior Manager\nBeth started her career as an accountant with Ernst and Young and joined the NHS through the GMTS. She has a good understanding of the NHS\, having worked in many different organisations\, in different roles and in different teams\, before specialising in Organisational Development.  Her interests are system working\, change management\, leadership development and public health. \nBeth joined the Leadership Academy in March 2021 to develop the systems leadership programmes.  She is a coach\, with a particular interest inclusive coaching\, MBTI facilitator\, and an action learning set facilitator. \nJess Done\, Leadership Development Senior Manager\nJess has a passion for the personal\, educational and professional development of individuals; supporting the staff of the NHS to be able to deliver better health and care outcomes. She has extensive experience running complex strategic and operational programmes\, and an understanding of embedding these within health and social care. After a number of years working in the corporate sector\, she has returned to the South East Leadership Academy with a drive to build an inclusive leadership community and co-create truly innovative and successful leadership and organisational development solutions.
