SUMMARY:GMTS Programme and Placement Manager Training
DESCRIPTION:About the session: \nEach year we run the Programme and Placement Manager Training sessions to ensure you are aware of any updates and to share your knowledge and experiences with new programme and placement managers.  \nWe have also opened these sessions up to any existing managers that either want a refresher or to network with colleagues. \nAs part of the assurance process and agreement to support hosting a trainee\, the training is mandatory for all new managers and/or any current programme or placement managers that have not attended a session in the last two years. You will only need to attend one of the sessions on the dates shown below:  \n\nTuesday 12th July – 09:30 – 13:00 \nTuesday 19th July – 09:30 – 13:00 \nTuesday 26th July – 09:30 – 13:00 \nTuesday 2nd August – 09:30 – 13:00 \n\nBook your Place: \nReserve a place via our RSVP booking system below. You will receive the joining instructions for the event 1 week before the session. \nSELA will retain a record of your name\, job role\, organisation\, band\, and contact details on its secure alumni register and contacts database for management information and communications purposes. DESCRIPTION:About the session:\nThe South East GMTS Trainee and Alumni Network would like to invite you to a round table discussion on Friday 29th July 14:00-16:00 on the topic\, ‘ICS Leadership and System Working’. \nOn the panel we have: Lee Bridgeman (AD of Operational Planning at Kent & Medway CCG)\, Jack Wagstaff (Place Leader at NW Surrey Health & Care Alliance)\, Emma Boswell (ED of Development and Improvement at Frimley CCG)\, James Scott (People Strategy Programme Director at BOB ICS)\, and Tom Gurney (NHS Sussex Chief Communications Officer) and Maggie MacIsaac (Chief Executive of Hampshire & Isle of Wight ICS). \nOur panel will introduce themselves and their role within their ICS\, before discussing the purpose and formation of ICSs\, the role of leadership in a successful ICS\, and the benefits vs reality of system working. We will end the session with a Q&A – attendees are encouraged to submit questions beforehand via this link\, or using the chat function during the event.
