She is passionate about opening up dialogue and understanding between different communities and creating a better\, more inclusive world. Aiming to deliver lively and interactive training both in person and online\, she fosters a learning environment where people can be open and have their preconceptions challenged. She is particularly interested in educating about the needs and considerations for older LGBTQ people and for people living with HIV. \nMindOut is passionate about helping organisations and professionals to become more confident in supporting LGBTQ people\, may they be clients\, customers\, service users or staff. Our supportive learning environment encourages participants to reflect on and improve their professional and personal practices with regard to LGBTQ inclusion. Our focus on affirmative practice is at the heart of all of our training; affirmative practice embraces a positive view of (LGBTQ) identities and relationships and proactively addresses the negative influences on mental health that homophobia\, transphobia\, and heterosexism have on the lives of LGBTQ people.
