SUMMARY:Management and Leadership Framework Session with Gill Rooke
DESCRIPTION:About the session:\nThe session will be delivered by Gill Rooke\, Deputy Director for the Leadership and Management Centre of Excellence at NHS England to talk about progress to date on the Management and Leadership Framework. This follows the recent survey on the draft standards and competencies which closed on Friday 14th March 2025.\n\nThe Leadership and Management framework is a Nationally led programme which includes the development of standards and competencies for managers and leaders working at every level across the NHS.\n\nThese set out clear and consistent expectations to equip all managers and leaders with the necessary skills to meet the evolving demands of healthcare services. This forms part of wider work in a programme of reforms to recognise the importance of and to professionalise NHS management and leadership.\n\nThis session will give participants the opportunity to receive and update on the current picture and hear about next steps\, with plenty of time for questions\n\n\nWho is this session for?\nThe session is open to all our South East Talent and Leadership Networks including our OD colleagues and also invite colleagues who might be interested to find out more about the framework.\n\nBook your place:\nBookings have now closed but if you would like to attend\, please email us at england.setalentandleadership@nhs.net.\n\nThe joining instructions\, including the meeting room link\, will be sent one week prior to the session.
