SUMMARY:Career Coaching CPD Workshop
DESCRIPTION:About the session:\nWe are pleased to be able to offer our Coaches this virtual CPD opportunity which aims to enhance knowledge\, skills\, and experience in holding career conversations and enable the provision of effective support to leaders including reflection on strengths and areas for development to support effective transitions\, examining thoughts and feelings about current roles and consideration of what the next steps in their careers might be. \nWhat They Are? \nCareer Development Conversations are a set of coaching conversations a leader can have to help people understand\, prioritise\, and act on their long-term career ambitions. \nPeople are often unaware of how they can grow in their careers\, and as a coach\, you can help. These conversations help provide clarity on how best to make meaningful progress.  Career coaching conversations can play a major role in talent management by helping people think through their aspirations and helping them to take ownership of their careers. \nContent will include: \n\nHosting career conversations in the current and wider contexts\nCareer conversation principles including creating the right conditions\nExploring different career and life stages\nIdentifying and utilising different tools including work/life wheels\, career timelines\, scaling\, circles and zoning tools\, visioning and questioning technique\n\nThis workshop will provide opportunities to reflect\, explore key concepts\, provide safe space to learn and practice\, network\, and share experiences with colleagues.  Participants will also be provided with materials to supplement their learning. \nWho is this session for?\nThis coaching CPD is intended to support the skillset of coaches currently operating in the South East NHS offering a framework to help support clients and organisations. DESCRIPTION:About the session:\nWe are pleased to invite you to register your interest to attend a Coaching Supervision Session\, led by Kate Bones. Coaching supervision is a space to allow coaches to share experiences\, recognise how their style impacts on their coachees\, as well as explore areas of development to enhance their coaching competence and confidence. \nIn preparation for the supervision session you might want to consider the following as prompts for issues to bring. \n\n1) A review of your recent coaching experiences e.g. what you feel has gone well and what you feel went less well\, a successful outcome you achieved\n2) A review of how you approached your coaching: models\, tools or technique you used\n3) Critical incident – one that seemed significant (for whatever reason) that you keep thinking about or has caused you to wonder….\nSomething that you are not sure about: e.g. ‘what to do when …..’\n4) A boundary issue that may have emerged e.g. at a personal level around limits of competence\, or a conflict around values\, ’personality’\, engagement or motivation\n5) A common theme or issue that you have noticed in your coaching\n6) Issues with contracting for coaching\n\n  \nWho is this session for?\nThis supervision session is open to the South East Leadership Academy Faculty of Experienced Coaches (250 hours plus).\nBook your Place:\nPlease register your place via the RSVP ticket tool below. She is also an accredited HLM 360 feedback facilitator\, a Self-Discovery trainer\, and regularly runs introduction to coaching training days\, as well as offering performance coaching to senior staff.
