SUMMARY:Supervisor CPD: Supervision
DESCRIPTION:About the session:\nSupervision is a place where you can meet yourself\, whether working with clients or not. Good supervision is not about your clients predominantly; it’s about developing\, supporting\, challenging and nurturing you as the centre of your practice\, in the service of your clients. Because…”no matter what we talk about\, we’re talking about ourselves.” If you want to serve your clients well\, be the best you that you can be. \nSupervision interrupts our practice\, providing a place where we have the freedom to pause\, reflect and enter compassionate\, facilitated inquiry into our work\, our internal motivations and beliefs\, our questions and assumptions and our journeys as we sit at the feet of our own experience in the respectful context of relationship with fellow supervisors. There is no hierarchy in supervision\, only a meeting place of equals. \nSupervision can be fun as well as thought provoking\, where the terms ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ aren’t used quickly\, preferring instead an attitude of curiosity\, respect for choices and discovery. \nWhat will be covered?\nDuring the session we will be: \n\n– Articulation of individual\, and group\, needs and outcomes\n– Open Forum\n– Input and activities connected to the theme of the session\n– Group supervision in small groups\n– Reflection\n\nWho is this session for?\n\nThe South East Leadership Academy Faculty of Coach Supervisors only. \n\nBook your Place:\nPlease register your place via the RSVP ticket tool below. The joining instructions\, including the meeting room link\, will be sent one week prior to the session. If your circumstances change and you can no longer attend\, please email nhsi.selll@nhs.net \nThe session will be delivered virtually via Zoom  \nAbout the Facilitators\nSue White\, Master Supervisor  and Coach\nSue White is an accredited Master Supervisor and coach. In private practice for almost 3 decades\, she has trained supervisors and advanced coaches. She supervises private individuals and several internal coaching pools\, teaches and is an accreditation assessor for APECS. Sue believes in the integrative nature of Supervision.  Your client work is the crucial backdrop to your Supervision\, and in the foreground is your own development in the service of your craft. We can only know how we are being when someone else ‘sees’ us. This is one of the central tenants of Supervision. Supervision is not only about our work\, but about who we are becoming at the centre of the conversations we are engaged in\, including those with ourselves! Sue’s philosophy is that each unique individual has their own path and journey to make.  She loves to work alongside learners who want to discover how to become more of the best version of themselves they can be in their chosen context
