DESCRIPTION:About the session:\nA standout CV and application can open doors. This session demystifies the process and offers clear advice on structuring your documents\, showcasing your experience\, and aligning with the role you’re aiming for. Ideal for anyone applying now — or just wanting to be ready when the time comes.\n\nThis session is part of the South East Autumn-Winter Career Series – a collection of interactive\, one-hour virtual workshops designed to support your career development across health and care in the South East.  Each workshop is a stand-alone session\, so you can join the ones most relevant to you\, or attend the full series for a broader boost.  The sessions are practical\, reflective\, and designed to help you build confidence\, develop your professional skills\, and take your next step with purpose.\n\nCome ready to engage – cameras on\, mics ready! \n\n\n\nWho is this session for?\nAll South East NHS health and social care colleagues working in the region.\n\nBook your place:\nBookings via the website have closed. If you would like to attend this session\, please email england.setalentandleadership@nhs.net.\n\nPlease book your place via the green RSVP ‘Going’ button below. Places are available on a first come\, first serve basis.  Although we will be able to see your name and email address upon submission\, once extrapolated the demographic and protected characteristics data will be anonymised. We appreciate your support in providing this information\, which will help us to ensure our leadership development interventions are widely accessible and inclusive.\n\n \n\n \n\nTo enable successful delivery of our events\, we need to share details\, including name\, role and/or organisation details\, along with any motivations/aspirations included in the RSVP booking form\, with facilitators to enable effective and inclusive preparation for the event.  For some events we will also share contact information with all participants to enable connection and ongoing collaboration. He was previously Head of Executive Talent & Appointments at NHS England where he worked on CEO talent strategy\, the creation of the Leadership Competency Framework and the appointments to the ICB boards.\n\nPrior to that\, as a Senior Programme Lead in the NHS Leadership Academy\, he helped establish the NHS Executive Search team that supported board appointments in the NHS. He was also worked on the national Aspiring CEO programme\, the Clinical Executive Fast Track\, the Aspiring Director of Nursing\, HR Director and Medical Director programmes and as well as the Aspire Together regional talent boards.\n\nHe has a background in search and selection and also took a time out to complete an internship with the RSPB\, as an Education Officer – a position which involved encouraging school parties to explore the natural world.
