SUMMARY:Self-Discovery Programme (Part 1 of 2)
DESCRIPTION:About the workshop:\nResearch shows that the most powerful factor influencing culture is leadership. Leaders who model compassion\, inclusion and dedication to improvement in all their interactions are the key to creating cultures of continuous improvement in health and care. \nThis 2-part session uses the science of psychology to help you explore your own self-awareness\, emotional intelligence and personal impact with the aim of helping you to reach your leadership potential and achieve your career aspirations. It is aimed at emerging leaders\, clinical and non-clinical staff in band 5\, and above. \n\nWhat will be covered:\nThese interactive virtual workshops\, conducted over 2 x 2.5hr sessions will give you the opportunity to: \n\n\n\nExplore your personal values\, motivations\, and preferences for how you live and work\nThink about yourself in your current role\, your purpose\, your level of contentment\, and how well you think you perform.\nUnderstand how your emotions drive how you think and behave.\nExplore how you manage your emotions when faced with particularly difficult situations or work-life challenges and how you might better manage those situations.\nProtected time to explore your career/life journey and aspirations.\nUnderstand your impact on others and how you might be perceived by others\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou will be asked to complete some pre-session and post self reflection work\, which is all designed to support the learning in the sessions and help you in the development of a personal action plan that captures your knowledge and skills so far in in your career and ensures some time to consider and understand the support you might need to implement your plan. Through her work Rebekah strives to challenge mindsets\, build self-belief and support change through the use of psychology-based development\nRebekah makes a difference through delivering evidence\, based\, bespoke\, applied learning that drives demonstrable\, on the-ground behaviour change and performance improvement.\nCo-designed and needs driven support is central to how Rebekah works\, always driven to maximise participation and ownership to ensure sustainable change is enabled.\nBridging the gap between theory and applied practice is at the heart of Rebekah’s approach.

SUMMARY:Leading Together: Support and Challenge for PCN Managers
DESCRIPTION:The Offer:\nThese sessions build on the success of Learning Sets for PCN managers in the South East over the last year. With expert facilitation\, the sessions provide an opportunity for PCN Managers to seek and offer peer support relating to the unique leadership challenges of this role. \nThe peer learning will also involve sharing perspectives and ideas while gently challenging each other to be bold and to try new things. The aim is for PCN Managers to feel less alone\, to learn with and from each other and to build a network. \nFormat:\n\n\n\n90 Minute virtual sessions\nFrequent sessions\, every 4 weeks\nIndividuals put forward their real\, live leadership issues they wish to explore and the group chooses which to focus on\nBook onto sessions as and when needed\nMax 8 people per session to enable small group inquiry and engagement\nSessions use the principles of supportive peer learning and critical friendship.\n\n\n\nWho the session is for:\n The sessions are open to all Primary Care Network Managers across the South-East Region. \nBook your place:\nReserve a place via our RSVP booking system below. You will receive the Joining Instructions on how to attend 1 week prior to the event. The session will be delivered virtually. \nSELA will retain a record of your name\, job role\, organisation\, band\, and contact details on its secure alumni register and contacts database for management information and communications purposes. Although we will be able to see your name and email address upon submission\, this data will be anonymised from the EDI details. We appreciate your support in providing this information\, which will help us to ensure our leadership development interventions are widely accessible and inclusive. \nYour booking details (i.e. name\, role\, organisation\, ICS) will be shared with the event provider and/or facilitator to allow them to understand participant thinking and adapt the event accordingly\, in addition to other regional leadership academies (as required) and with the members of other relevant SELA networks to aid communication\, sharing of good practice and support.
