SUMMARY:Leadership Espresso – Supporting you with meaningful mediation skills
DESCRIPTION:The South East Leadership Academy are pleased to introduce a new learning programme; Supporting you with Meaningful Mediation Skills\, which provides you with an opportunity to explore and apply a range of approaches in the management and resolution of workplace conflict. Conflict at work can be stressful\, time consuming and disruptive for those directly involved and also those within the team and / or department who are indirectly involved. Responding to conflict when it arises and addressing the root cause at the earliest opportunity can reduce how wide reaching and entrenched the conflict becomes and help to limit the negative residual impact that can often ripple through a team. \nMediation is about working with employees’ central to the conflict situation\, to help them understand the key issues\, determine possible solutions and how to move forward beyond the conflict. \nThese sessions focus on the skill of mediation and will provide time for you to learn new tools and techniques to support yourself and your teams in addressing conflict. This programme is designed to refresh and refine your skills in how to respond or facilitate the resolution of conflict in the workplace. \nDescribed below is a summary of the programme\, it is important to note that this programme has been designed for and aimed at people experiencing current or ‘live’ situations where they have a direct role in supporting the resolution of a conflict situation. \nThe programme is delivered by Noelle Davies a qualified Workplace Mediator & Conflict Coach who works across a range of public and private sector industries as a conflict expert. \nWho is this session for?\nThis programme has been designed specifically to support those working in HR\, who have a “live” workplace conflict to work through and who have been selected as someone who may be interested in this programme. \nAs places are extremely limited please can you confirm your interest in taking up one of the 8 available delegate places by completing the booking form. \nOnce your place has been confirmed you will be contacted via Noelle directly through email to introduce herself and share the questionnaire to complete. Once you have returned the questionnaire Noelle will arrange a convenient time to have the first introductory call with you. \nConfidentiality and Data Protection \nNHS England /Improvement and Rebekah Giffney Consulting Limited undertake to comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) that came into effect in May 2018 and will use personal data received from you solely for the purpose of providing services in relation to the Programme. \nIf your circumstances change or if you would like to speak with a member of the team for further information\, please email england.selll@nhs.net
