I’m a person too: Action Learning sets to support frontline workers encountering aggression and antisocial behaviour: Group 1

Free

About the session:

It is widely recognised that the pressures of the last two years through the Covid 19 pandemic have been intense, with huge burdens carried by our health and care services. Long waits for care and changes to the way care can be accessed have caused immense frustration in the system and we know that health and care staff are now facing unprecedented levels of aggression and verbal abuse from patients and others as the pressures continue to rise. This increases the risk of burnout and exhaustion for those already persevering in difficult conditions.

This offer is a set of three sessions for frontline workers encountering aggression or antisocial behaviour to come together in small groups to:

    • Express current fears and frustrations
    • Be heard in a supportive, safe space
    • Hear from colleagues encountering similar levels of stress
    • Share insights and practical thoughts/ideas for moving forwards

Who are these workshops for:

This session is targeted at both clinical and non-clinical frontline workers and maybe particularly relevant for you if you are a receptionist, business manager, provide care in the community or work in any heavily patient focused role in a healthcare organisation
