Developing a Coaching Culture Programme – Application Form

Thank you for your interest in the upcoming Developing a Coaching Culture Programme. Please complete the following information by Friday 25th February 2022

All applications will be reviewed, and decisions communicated by Wednesday 2nd March 2022

Important information:

Please answer all the questions below and do feel free to expand the form as required to suit your answers.

Please provide enough in your responses to the questions, as the detail you provide may help us when making decisions on offering places on the programme.

Please ensure approval and authorisation from your organisation and you must accept the non-attendance/cancellation policy detailed at the end of the programme.

Please note that we will share application forms, in line with information governance and data protection guidelines, with the programme provider; Leaderspace, to allow them to understand participant thinking and adapt the programme accordingly if required.

If you are successful and accept your place on this programme, we will share your email address with other participants on the programme.

If we are unable to offer you a place on this cohort, we will keep your details to contact you regarding future programmes and events.

Developing a Coaching Culture Programme information and delivery dates:

The programme is scheduled to run as follows:

  • Workshop 1: Monday 28th March 13:00-17:00 – ‘Why and What’: Why might we want a coaching culture? What might it look like? What are the pros and cons?
  • Workshop 2: Friday 29th April 09:00-13:00–   ‘How and Who’: How we’ll create the culture we’re looking for, in our own teams and organisations. Who we’ll need to help us and how we’ll get them on board.
  • Workshop 3: Monday 16th May 13:00-17:00 – ‘Where and When’: Where and when is this already happening? What green shoots are we seeing, here and elsewhere, and how can we nurture them?
  • Workshop 4: Monday 6th June 13:00-17:00 – ‘What next?’: Mapping and modelling the complex systems that enable and inhibit this culture we’re seeking. Setting ourselves up for success going forward.
  • Action Learning Set – group 1 –  27th June , 13:00- 17:00
  • Action Learning Set – group 2 –4th July 13:00-17:00

NB: all course dates will be delivered virtually

This programme is funded by the South East Leadership Academy.

NB: Attendance of all workshop dates is a requirement and it is not possible to attend part of the programme.

Important Information:

If you are accepted onto this programme you will need to commit to the following:

  1. Attendance of ALL sessions unless extenuating circumstances arise, and absence has been agreed in advance with South East Leadership Academy.
  2. To complete programme pre-work
  3. Participate in any post-programme follow up, especially to evaluate long term impact


To demonstrate best value to patients and taxpayers, we need to ensure maximum attendance on leadership development programmes and events.  Failure to attend without a justifiable reason* will result in NHS South East Leadership Academy reporting this absence, and related costs, to your HR   Director/Accountable Officer.   South East Leadership Academy operates   a membership model so your employing organisation is making a financial contribution to this leadership programme and will expect full attendance by employees who take up places.

*workload pressure is not considered a justifiable reason.
